Located in the Pallars Jussà, on the left bank of the Noguera Pallaresa river, the municipality of Isona and Conca de Dellà comprises 13 small population centres distributed in the southeast of the county. The municipality has a large number of Romanesque churches, among which stands out the church of Santa María de Covet, which dates from the first half of the 12th century. It is an architectural work that has earned its place among the most remarkable examples of Romanesque art in Catalonia thanks to the originality of its carved portal. The interior gallery, above the entrance, with a large rose window on the outside, is also one of its outstanding architectural elements. This element, together with the gallery of the Cathedral of La Seu d'Urgell, are considered unique and exceptional in the world of Catalan Romanesque art.
