Tavascan

Located in the region of El Pallars Sobirà, Lladorre fills a large part of the Valley of Cardós. It presents a great natural wealth included in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park. The municipality of Lladorre is formed by Aineto, Boldís Jussà, Boldís Sobirà, Lleret, Lladorre itself and Tavascan. Between the latter two, we can find the church of Sant Martí. The municipality counts with an important archaeological and architectonical heritage from the Middle Ages and the modern era. A large proportion of this heritage has remained intact until nowadays, turning this village into a picture Pyrenees’ past. Tourism is, thanks to the area’s remarkable geographical environment, a great social and economic development axis. High mountains and hiking are one of its biggest appeals together with its historic and gastronomic heritage, fishing and winter sports.
